We are an independent business with a focus on sustainable choices, details and quality. Our site on Gravel Lane is split across three floors. The ground floor is home to our public cafe and lounge where we serve speciality coffee and veg-lead food. We produce everything we serve in house (including bread and baked goods) and we make our own pickles, jams and ferments. We pay particular attention to the provenance of the food we use, making a conscious effort to source seasonably, sustainably and organic where possible. We are proud to use 100% renewable electricity throughout our building. ​Our lower ground floor is home to our open access workspace and an outpost of The Barbican design, art and architecture library. At evenings and weekends our space is transformed into a private and public event space hosting anything from panel talks and art exhibitions to supper clubs and life drawing.
